The Bible teaches that we are to give of our Time, Talent and Treasure as a way to honor and worship God, help our fellow man, and support our church.
 
How much to give: A good rule of thumb is 10% of your pay, however, we are no longer under the Old Testament "tithe" mandate so this is not binding. Some give less, some give more. It is not the amount that is most important, but the attitude behind it for "God loves a cheerful giver".                                         2 Corinthians 9:6
